Mortgage Trainer and Support

The desired candidate will train lenders on how to deliver the Total Cost Analysis to borrowers and families and take pride in providing Mortgage Coach members a “WOW” customer service experience. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Respond to member support inquiries via chat, telephone, and email. Resolve issues in a positive and effective manner for both the company and client.
  • Assist members with the installation and setup of Mortgage Coach products.
  • Conduct group and individual education and training through webinar solutions.
  • Support the QC/QA process for new and ongoing product development.
  • Plan and produce new training videos and supporting materials including product documentation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of mortgage concepts and regulations.
  • Assist at live events as needed in areas of product expertise and training.

  • Ability to type at least 40 wpm.

  • May require 25-50% travel.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Grow our new and existing mobile Android Offerings – experience with Android 3.0+ required
  • Interpret and document business requirements and create technical specification documents
  • Ability to analyze, design and develop mobile applications in one or more programming languages
  • Develop readable code using proven architecture and documentation standards
  • Design and implement effective user interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use
  • Work with information technology and support teams to dynamically resolve application, database and programming issues
  • Use source-control and task tracking systems to manage and track code and assignments
  • Implement to specification as scheduled, coordinating between work groups to ensure timely delivery
  • Work with Q/A team carefully documenting design to ensure flawless release.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Java Development
  • 2+ Years Android development using Eclipse or Android Dev Studio — experience with integration with web services (Soap and Rest), integration with charting libraries (such as Android Plot), Amazon AWS SDK, experience with notifications and MySQL database preferred
  • Knowledge of any other mobile platform like iOS or Windows Phone preferred
  • 3+ Years software design and general development skills including: HTML 5, CSS, Javascript, C#, Web Services, SQL Databases preferred
  • Passion for mobile development and keeping up to date with the latest technology
  • Familiarity with the submission process of the Google Play Store, Amazon Kindle app store
  • Familiarity with source control like Git
  • Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents
  • A flexible attitude, strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Proficient in English Communication skills both verbal and written
  • A commitment to producing the highest quality work, even under pressure
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
